“To me, flowers are more than just beautiful—they can bring light and color to a room, serve as a message of love and support, and provide a sense of peace for those who receive them.”
Our story
Hi, I'm Katie Worcester, the owner and operator of GoodWay Gardens Cut Flower Farm. For the past two years, I've been growing cut flowers right in my back yard flower beds, and in 2025 I’ll be relocating operations to my family’s property in Epping, NH. This new chapter will allow me to expand and continue sharing the beauty of flowers with my community.
My love for flowers comes from my roots. My mom, who grew zinnias and dahlias at a farm in North Andover, Massachusetts, is my inspiration. She learned the art of flower growing from her father, Leo, who was the original flower grower in our family. Growing up, I was surrounded by vibrant gardens—my mom always had a perennial cutting garden along with her signature zinnias and sunflowers. These memories, along with my love for creating bouquets for my kitchen table or to share with friends, planted the seed for what would become GoodWay Gardens.
At the heart of my farm, I’m passionate about supporting local businesses. I believe in the importance of investing in our local economy, which not only helps our neighbors but also reduces the environmental impact of imported goods. There's a unique sense of community when we shop locally. By purchasing flowers from GoodWay Gardens, you're not only getting the freshest blooms (often picked the same day), but you're also supporting a small business with a dedication to quality and sustainability. Unlike store-bought flowers, which can be days old by the time they reach you, my flowers are grown with care and harvested locally for you to enjoy at their peak.
Before diving into my flower farm, I spent 10 years working as a Surgical Technologist and most recently served as a Sales Executive in the Financial Tech industry. While I’ve gained valuable skills from both of these roles, I quickly realized my true calling was in my garden. Growing flowers for my friends, family, and community brings me joy and fulfillment. To me, flowers are more than just beautiful—they can bring light and color to a room, serve as a message of love and support, and provide a sense of peace for those who receive them.
Thank you for visiting my site, and I’m excited to share my love for flowers with you!
